No. Instead, send LPs a PACT. The standard PACT has NDA language prebuilt into the legal template and it's designed for this purpose. Once they sign the PACT, you can disclose more information about the fund.

is the PACT NDA language also sufficient for sharing confidential information about target portcos and their data rooms where our fund is a non-blind pool of assets?
If the fund is non-blind (i.e. an SPV) - then you would need permission from the company.
If the fund is blind (i.e. a VC fund) - then you may put deal memos in a folder in your data room. The company's data room is typically too much in any case.
