Can my first fund target both seed stage and pre seed stage

In the curriculum and talks, it was mentioned to target one stage only for first fund. However, when I ask the AI, it tells me that one can target both seed/pre-seed in first fund. Which advice should we follow? Also, upon looking at one of the websites of your alums, Geek Ventures, it seems they target both seed and pre seed.

It's possible to target both seed and pre-seed stages in a first fund, but it's generally advised to focus on one stage to maintain a clear investment thesis and strategy. This focus helps in building expertise and credibility. However, some funds, like Geek Ventures, successfully target both stages by clearly defining their approach and criteria for each. Ultimately, the decision should align with your fund's strategy, expertise, and market understanding.
